Road to the Next Gravity Tree Album

After a short break (hence the lack of newsletters or blogs), Gravity Tree is now back to work on new songs, most of which will be included in our 3rd CD release, about nine months from now. But you won't have to wait that long for new prog rock from us. We're going to try and release a new web-version of each song as it's finished.

Hopefully that means you'll see a new mp3 download available on the usual sites about every couple of months.

We probably won't release all of the material this way, mostly because some of them are shaping up to be quite long. But we might release a "part 1" of a piece as a download. It's an experiment, and you'll have to give us feedback on it. Expect the first new release before the end of January

One more thing: Everyone on our official mailing list or Yahoo group will get a message when the first song is available. And if you're a member of the Gravity Tree street team, you'll receive most of these mp3s for FREE.

All the music is up at AmazonMP3

Finally got all the music up at Amazon's MP3 shop. The latest CD, ULTIMATE BACKWARD, is also available as, well, a CD, in the regular part of their music section. It only took a year and a half, but better late than never; it's such a big store. Oh and it's also at Target's online store (Target.com) as they work with Amazon. Neat.

Gravity Tree on ReverbNation

Prog rock duo Gravity Tree has just gone live on ReverbNation. Music featured includes pieces from their latest album, Ultimate Backward. Banners, widgets and photos are also available alongside the music.

In their review of Ultimate Backward, USA Progressive Music stated "a very thought provoking album by a duo who definitely punches a hole through the more established forms of Prog and creates their own sound."

<lj-embed id="1" />
